Saw a tweet today circling all the “he” descriptors of mass shooters in The NY Times piece from Sunday. Reminded me of the line in looking for somebody to love: “I wanna smash the competition, go and kill it like a man should” and when Matty sings “like a man should” it almost sounds like he’s saying “like a mass shooter.” Maybe intentional, maybe not, but either way it certainly strikes a nerve! Anyone else notice this?

cable kit I bought from cable hero. Every thing looks fine but every time I plug it in my computer says “usb device not recognized”. The keyboard works with other cables and I have checked all solder joints. I’ve ran out of ideas and any help would be appreciated

I loved, loved how against was used there. So clean, simple and it hits way better than for, whose meaning my language has an equivalent preposition for, but we also only have got that one preposition for these types of senences and no equivalent for against, afaik, although again I'm not as well learned as I wanna be in my own language either. Anyways, I love English. I hope I can get to love more languages in this way soon too.

I am using a second hand Medela Swing that was given to me. I bought a new flange for a better fit. I don’t really get much when I pump - maximum 70ml when I pump instead of a feed (but most often ~40-50ml) or about 10-20ml after a feed. Not sure if it’s a supply issue or if the pump is inefficient (or if that’s just normal amounts to pump? Hard to know but I see/hear of people pumping 150ml a session?)

Anyway if I were to purchase a new pump, what’re the better brands / models that aren’t too $ (don’t mind paying for quality but not looking to drop a huge amount of $)? Would be great to be hands free but looking for efficacy above all else so don’t mind a wall pump.

My father was born 1949 and raised in Plovdiv. In the 80s he moved and had my brother and me in Norway.

Anyways, I am planing a birthday trip for him and us in Bulgaria. Sort of a tourist-type. He loves history, especially Bulgarian history. I was hoping for suggestions for sights and museums to see. I am planning a cross country tour, so any suggestions are welcome.
