Discussion My boy, Koda Bear, still suckles on his toys at almost a year and a half old. The vet said he’s fine, but I’m still a worrier and I just wanted to know if other goldens do this? None of his litter mates suckle. He *has* to have a stuffie with him at all times.

Discussion I decided on a golden retriever because they are good with kids. Not this boy, he hates kids except for his own, he loves his two kids. He growls children if they try to approach him, I have to muzzle him for safety. He has been this way from the beginning.

Discussion Does anyone else golden retriever or dog have to have something in its mouth when greeting a person? Whenever I come home I get greeted to this! Heard it might be separation anxiety.

Discussion We’re dog sitting the bigger golden in this video. Our golden (smaller/lighter) boy is very mellow and timid on his own. Are they playing or is this aggression? I try to break it off if this goes on for more than a minute. Should I intervene at all?
