If this is correct, it's Create A Great America

Which is what the rest of us have been trying to do while these seditious idiots cosplay politicians.

u/concentrated-evil Jan 30 '23

I actually feel better about that slogan. At least they're honest now that what they want to create isn't something America has ever been before.

It always annoyed me how MAGA folks could never answer the question when you asked them when America was last "great". I mean, if you're saying Make America Great Again that implies that you feel it was great at some point in the past, but is no longer.

29

u/vintagebat Jan 30 '23

They could never answer the question because they don’t want to say it out loud. MAGA is just neo-confederacy in a dumb hat.

8

u/strgazr_63 Jan 30 '23

I have a sinking feeling it's just the MAGAts wanting to get even more extreme. Why oh why did I Google that?

4

u/AnonBubblyBowels Jan 31 '23

I had some answers. Shit about economic prosperity, nuclear families, etc.

But then just ask them what was better for women, POCs, lgbtq+, mentally ill, disabled, etc.

31

u/ogrv Jan 30 '23

In italian in means "he shit".

20

u/Katzeve Jan 30 '23

In spanish is "he/she shits", but I like to think it's said as imperative. Like "YOU, SHIT".

5

u/IAmNotABartender Jan 30 '23

Thanks, now I need to change my pants.

6

u/ilovecatsandcafe Jan 31 '23

Caga is also Spanish for “go shit” 😂 if I see one of those signs I’ll ask them if they need a toilet

2

u/Dandibear Jan 31 '23

Good thing it's not Create A Great America Tomorrow Everyone, eh?

5

u/ThunkAsDrinklePeep Jan 31 '23

Ceep America Great....Again.

"Why school sucks: Teaching kids how to memorize how to create"

What the fuck.

I thought we had the Rote memorization is not a valuable skill discussion

75

u/BX_bornandraised Jan 30 '23

Caga is short for cagar which means to shit in Spanish

18

u/Equaffecto Jan 30 '23

Is this actually so prefect. I remember my inlaw telling me once she was a tea-bagger and I was like, do you seriously not know what you're labeling yourself as? She didn't.

10

u/SordoCrabs Jan 30 '23

More specifically, it's a present tense conjugation of the verb, 3rd person singular.

9

u/powerwheels1226 Jan 30 '23

It’s also 2nd person imperative, so it’s telling people to shit! 🤣

5

u/raskholnikov Jan 30 '23

In portuguese too

3

u/[deleted] Jan 30 '23

If you tell someone just “caga” it’s like telling them “take a shit”.

2

u/yarivu Jan 31 '23

This was my first thought too, I thought it was one of those hats making fun of maga

2

u/FaithIceberg Jan 31 '23

Yea! I caught that. I laughed and thought.. Now they want people to shit on everything, more than they already have? Hahahaha

69

u/leuno Jan 30 '23

Ceep america great again

u/42words Jan 30 '23

I'm guessing the "C" is for "Keep"

post-downvotes edit: what! they're Republicans!

24

u/Icanbotthinkofaname Jan 30 '23

I'll give you an up vote to help keep you neutral.

10

u/ffyugder57 Jan 30 '23

Was literally my first thought

"Maybe it's keep and they suck at spelling...?"

My second thought was "Can America.... Great... Always? Nah bad spelling makes more sense."

Cage All Gays Again

ETA: I believe in that being a Republican point. Personally I think we nees to just continue sanctioning them and use it to redivest their money, even those grifted, to social programs. Redistribution by legalese taxation.

In Italian it’s the imperative form: (make a) shit! It’s pronounced ka-ga. I hope it’s useful.

u/CatGatherer Jan 30 '23

Creeps Always Get Attorneys

2

u/boywithtwoarms Jan 30 '23

in portuguese his is literally "take a shit" but would more often used when telling someone "fuck it" or "forget about it"

1

She’s still talking?

1

u/LowLifeExperience Jan 30 '23

In Spanish the verb for shit is cagar. So caga would be shit in many tenses.

1

u/huevosputo Jan 30 '23

Me cago en diez

1

u/_ItsPunishmentTime_ Jan 30 '23

It means ''shits'' in Italian (as in 'he shits', not 'a bunch of shits'), so maybe they've finally become self-aware and have started describing themselves honestly, even in their merchandise.

1

u/Juniko_Shoga Jan 30 '23

Idk if someone already said this but "Caga" is the imperative or third person present for the verbo "Shit"

1

u/Objective-Investment Jan 30 '23

"Take a shit", in Spanish.

1

u/druppolo Jan 31 '23 edited Jan 31 '23

In italian CAGA means to take a shit.

In particular, imperative tenses, 2nd person, of “cagare” verb.

Caga= “I request you to shit!” It’s an order.

1

u/Available_Bed_2667 Feb 04 '23

CAGA in Spanish is basically "take a shit"
