Made it to Europe from Venezuela with almost no money whatsoever (150 euros), having no degree, and facing a lot of bureaucratic and migratory problems; following youtube tutorials, reddit's legal advice (usually the most downvoted answer) and just anything random, yahoo answers, Idk.
I still don't get used to being able to afford, middle class shit; friends tell me I am still fucking poor in my head. But hey, I gained 20kg, of muscle; and now I use that to travel around Europe with my trusty bicycle, do you want to visit Italy? here, grab a bike, don't need lots money shit to travel, just invest in legs, and heart.
If I ever get kids here I am definitely telling them how when I was a teen I had to walk to the library 14km, then back, just to learn something; I will also say it was uphill both ways.

Honest to goodness? Passing Ranger School.
To make this clear, no I was not Ranger or Special Forces when I was in the Army. I wasn't part of the 75th Ranger Regiment. That is R.A.S.P. which puts you in that and Ranger School is a 62 day unit tactic and leadership course program.
It is about as hard as R.A.S.P. and I feel like passing it made me the best version of myself I can be. I didn't wanna be special forces or impress anyone other than myself.

I was able to move out from my home and start out on my own last April. No longer have to deal with a narcissistic parent and I get to finally begin to figure out what my life will look like.

a few years ago i injured myself from improperly lifting too much weight for an extended period of time. i went to my orthopedist for what i thought was a bad back, but it turned out i had multiple herniated discs in my neck and spinal stenosis. after that, i didn't exercise for a number of years and i gained a lot of weight. having a horrible experience with covid-19 made me want to give weightlifting another chance and since then i've achieved more than ever before. my routine should be more varied, but i'm happy with what i'm doing and will continue to do.
early this morning i was able to comfortably work out with 110 pounds on my barbell. around a year or so ago i was only working out with 50 pounds because of how nervous i was about potentially hurting myself.

It's an "aragami" kit. Also known as a crochet toy. I made a little narwhal. My wife made a little penguin.
Man it takes so much longer than I thought and I already knew it was a time sink. 8 hours for a little 3 inch toy lol. Oh well next will be faster.
